A little bit of history
Eldorado Recording Studios was originally established in 1954 at the corner of Hollywood and Vine as a workshop for Johnny Otis. In those days, hits like Johnny Otis's "Willie and the Hand Jive" and others were crafted using equipment that has now become legendary among producers and engineers for its sound. We still have most of the original equipment lot from the 50's and 60's and most of it has aged like fine wine as it has been carefully maintained and moved from location to location over the past 55 years.
